Question: Q: Keyboard Protection Necessary? Does anybody here not use some kind of keyboard protector? I'm wondering if it is something that is necessary to have (will dust/debris actually cause malfunctions if I don't use a protector?). Apple may provide or recommend responses as a possible solution based on the information. A keyboard cover is not bad for your Mac. It doesn't make cooling it any easier so you might have your fans running a little more than usual but your Mac will be fine.
